Upgrade from RC to GA ---> redhat-updater for RHEL7 RC to GA release?
Is it possible to update RHEL7 RC to GA using similar methods one would implore for RHEL6 to RHEL7 upgrades?
If it is possible, can there be a KB article on how one would do this?
Responses
Upgrading from RHEL 7 Beta or RC to GA is untested by Red Hat, and therefore unsupported. Someone might just get lucky and it might "just work" but this is not a use case that engineering, quality engineering, or support has included as part of their acceptance criteria.
As for upgrades from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7, there are limited use cases that are supported, and assuming the preupgrade-assistant passes all it's tests prior to upgrading. For full information, please refer to the following Knowledgebase article for more information:

- How do I subscribe to the RHEL Extras Channel/Repository --> not to be confused with EPEL, which is different. The Extras channel/repo is a new channel/repo created especially for fast-moving technologies with its own life cycle.
you can try to remove beta certificate from /etc/pki/product and try to register/attach (subscription-manager) and update (yum)... try on your own, as said in previous comment, it is not supported by redhat, but can make your system as rhel7 (non beta, but there would be still traces of beta somewhere, for example "subscription-manager facts" shows me "beta" in distribution.version.modifier).
PS: worked for me
PS2 (later edit): beta comes from /etc/os-release, where you have to change CPE_NAME line with changing 'beta' to 'GA', see as well this bugzilla report.
