How to check if a host needs to reboot? BEFORE applying errata

I know there are ways to check to see if the server needs rebooting after Security errata is applied, however, is there a way to check if an RHSA will require a reboot before applying the errata?

Reason I ask is in our env, outages need to be planned out.
