NetworkManager config after kickstart

I am installing RHEL 8 via kickstart. the network is configured correctly with a static address via the kickstart file. But when i go to change the IP address, i cannot find it configured anywhere. the ifcfg file under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts and the network configuration GUI show the port as configured for DHCP, not static IP. NetworkManager is running, but there are no interface config files under /etc/NetworkManager. Where is the config being stored? And how do I change it?
