Satellite server behind squid proxy for repository updates from Red Hat (Internet)

Has anyone successfully been able to get Satellite working behind a squid proxy for the purposes of pulling repo updates from Red Hat.

My satellite server doesn't/cannot have direct access to the Internet so has to go through a proxy and I'm having all sorts of issues trying to get it to work.

I'm not doing any sort of SSL interception it's just a straight through proxy.

If anyone could share a working config (redacted for privacy of course) that would be most appreciated.
