  • Remote Execution in 6.19

    Posted on

After upgrading from 6.17 > 6.18 > 6.19, remote execution stopped working for me. I changed the remote execution path in the previous version under Administrator > Settings > Remote Execution and edited the path in Remote working directory, but that setting is no longer there in 6.19. Does anyone know how to change that path in the latest version? In the previous version, I changed the path to /usr/local/bin because our /tmp has the noexec flag. Also, I SSH'd to this client and was able to run sudo commands on that directory. I thought I might change it to /home/User/

Here is the error I'm getting.
Error initializing command: RuntimeError - Unable to create directory /usr/local/bin/foreman-ssh-cmd-0f28fce8-1567-4d97-b9f0-4e97b7289a66 on remote system, exit code: 1
    Exit status: EXCEPTION
    StandardError: Job execution failed

    Thank you,
    Joe
