  • Integrate AAP with Automation Orchestrator

    Posted on

I am evaluating Automation Orchestrator. I have SNO for my sandbox. I have installed AAP on it and it works fine. When I install Automation Orchestrator using web console (operator), I can access the dashboard just fine. But when I try to add AAP integration, i got the error message of

    Danger alert:Connection test failed
base_url must not resolve to a private, reserved, or cloud metadata address.

Which put me in a deadlock because it is a private cluster hence private IP Address, and I can't integrate my AAP that is running on the same cluster with the Automation Orchestrator. I haven't found any config to add my AAP routes to handle this except workflowHttpRequestAllowedHosts config which I already added. Does this mean, I can only use with if my AAP routes has a public IP as of now? Or is there any config to whitelist my AAP routes?

Here are the backend logs i gather
