Unable to Create Exam USB
I'm trying to prepare and test my hardware for my EX200 exam next week. I've been following the instructions from this page: https://www.redhat.com/rhdc/managed-files/tr-remote-exams-preparation-ebook-f27382-202103-en_2.pdf
When I download the LiveUSB image to be written with Fedora Media Writer, the MD5 checksum comes out differently from what is stated on the preparation instructions.
When I run the check:
478157b7675223468d83253a241a1fd5
What the instructions say it should be:
0dd72ac558fc1afbf0c0e1fa4b366f10
I haven't had any success writing to USB with Fedora Media Writer and when I try etcher or Rufus I can create the USB, but it boots in to GRUB. Anyone else have this issue or can point me to the correct LiveUSB image? Thanks.
Edit:
Turns out it wasn't the ISO being the issue. Windows was having trouble writing to the drive so I used my Linux machine to run dd. Couldn't get it to boot on a new-ish laptop, but did get it to run on my main Linux desktop.
