SSH SESSION DISCONNECT AND CAN'T RECONNECT WHEN USE NETWWORKMANAGER SERVICE TO MANAGEMENT NETWORK

Posted on

I deployed Red Hat Virtualization Host on the Dell R910 with the latest version 4.4. When I try to access a Red Hat Virtualization host through a PC direct connection, the first successful SSH connection will soon be disconnected, and then it will not be connected again, during which time, the PING test between the PC and the host has not been abnormal.
Subsequently, I tried to check the sshd_config configurations, restart the sshd service, turn off the firewall/SELINUX, and ifdown/ifup nics. It was even lowered to 4.2 for Red Hat Virtualization Host, but to no avail.
In the end, I suspected that it was still a network problem, I tried to stop and disable the NetworkManager service, and then performed a service network restart, and the problem was finally handled.
What is the difference between NetworkManager and Network? What settings of networkManager caused this problem?
