preupg stuck at checking local files

I am now trying the upgrade from version 6.8 to 7.9. And one disk is extremely large, which is about 4T. May I know if the size will affect the time taken for the preupgrade check cause it finishes faster when the disk space is 200GB?

Any log that I can check to verify if this step is normal or hanging? This step already run 2 hours, but still in running.
