Best Practice Fencing Method for Cluster Environment Production

I just implemented 4 servers to be clustered using High Availability Add Ons. Our servers are HP Proliant DL380 G8 and unfortunately there are no license ILO. What is the best practice of fencing method with this environment ? should i use IPMI to fencing ?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
You can refer the follow address in order to get more information about the Fence Devices and his parameters:

Hi,
Yes, you can use IPMI for fencing. It is suggested by redhat. but remember, you are using ILO, so far I know DL380 G8 is using ILO-v3 which supports IPMI but its a enternal fencing. If I am not wrong, RedHat best practise is using external fencing like APC Power switch. which is cost you a lot. As you have ILO for IPMI u may use it for fencing nodes. After configuring test the node by fence_node command from another node.
Please suggets if I am wrong.
Have a good day.
Hi,
You could use the steps descrined in following cluster administration guide for detailed information about how to configure fence agent using Brocade FC switches:
"5.3. Brocade Fabric Switch"
