Online file compression like NTFS
NTFS has a great feature: online compression/decompression of files/folder.
On Windows enabling compression on folder with al lot of text files (logs ?) we reclaim a lot of space. I would be nice having it on ext4.

... btrfs supports compression via the '-o compress' mount option.
Please note that Btrfs is still experimental - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 includes Btrfs as a technology preview to allow you to experiment with this file system. You should not choose Btrfs for partitions that will contain valuable data or that are essential for the operation of important systems.
