Welcome to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Online User Group

Latest response

Hello, and welcome to our new Online User Groups area of the Customer Portal! This particular group, the Red Hat Linux Enterprise Group, has been created to make your experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux as successful and rewarding as possible. In this group you'll be able to interact with Red Hat Associates who are knowledgeable with the RHEL products, including our Support Associates. Furthermore, you'll be able to receive help from other customers who might be familiar with the particular problem or issue you're encountering.

As a matter of fact, you may find that you can provide some expertise for some of the discussions that arise in this group, and we hope that you'll take advantage of any opportunities to share your experiences with each other. In addition, you'll also see that this group includes a collaborative documents section where you can create and collaborate on case studies, tips, how-tos, or other topics that might make installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux that much easier.

Lastly, since this group is made up of a community of Red Hat customers that use Red Hat Enterprise Linux, we encourage you to rate and vote on whatever discussion threads, comments or collaborative documents that you find helpful and valuable.

Thanks again for joining this group, and please let us know how we can continue to serve you.

The "Cannot update openssh-server using yum" comment by Jerry Ehrlick has been moved to it's own thread here to better facilitate discussion. - Justin

Dear Justin,

Have the Red Hat professional forums on the Certification Center been deleted?

Kind regards,

Jan Gerrit Kootstra

Jan Gerrit,

The Certification Forums are still available at https://certforums.redhat.com/login.php. You'll need your Red Hat certification number and PIN (there's a way to reset your PIN on the site if you don't know it).

I'll ask the certification folks here if there are any plans to integrate those into the Customer Portal Online User Groups and let you know.

Thanks for asking!
Justin
