Named server wrong and joined to domain

Hello,

I inadvertently named a new RHEL server wrong during installation and then joined it to the domain. This caused a computer record to be created with the wrong name in ADUC. I renamed the server and rebooted it, but the record won’t update in ADUC. I am wondering what the best practice is to get the computer record to update in ADUC with the new name. Any suggestions?
