RHEL 8.5 hangs on GNOME

Installed RHEL 8.5. Machine was running, had a power outage and machine will not load past:

Started GNOME Display Manager..ol daemon. up...

Screen goes blank with a solid curser in upper left.

Not sure the power outage was the problem at all, but the start up after exposed the issue from what I have researched online.

Any help is welcomed. I am pretty new to Linux.
