Proxy Server Configuration

So I have a slight issue. I have a satellite server that is being used for updating my Red Hat servers. The Satellite server bypasses the proxy server. For any other downloads My IT department is wanting me to go thru a proxy server that has a cert. I have the satellite working and RHEL updates work fine. However, I can't download anything else because it is looking at the Satellite server and that server doesn't have the packages.
Is there a way for me to configure the satellite server to forward the request straight out or is there a way to configure the server to look for anything but rhel updates thru the proxy server?
