RHEL8, Performance Co-Pilot, PCP

Latest response

I have set up Performance Co-Pilot with multiple collector hosts and one monitoring host.
I can use the pcp tools (on the monitoring host) to check a live metric on one of the collector hosts, e.g. check load average right now.
BUT.
What I really want to do is be able to check a value from the archive logs on a remote host without having to copy all the log files to a central location, e.g. using pmlogger.
I don't really want redis and grafana, I just want to use the pcp tools on the command line.

Example
Someone reports host 'venus' was slow yesterday afternoon, I want to be able to quickly check the archive log on 'venus' for yesterday, a bit like 'sar', but on a remote host.
