RHEL 8.4 kernel update breaks network interfaces

Latest response

Hi,

I just updated my machine and it looks like the RHEL 8.4 kernel update somehow breaks network interfaces. All the network interfaces show as unclaimed. This affects wireless and ethernet. Typically this would be a driver issue.
It also seemed to have spawned its own random ethernet interface. Even after cleaning that up it still did not work.

After a lot of troubleshooting I simply rebooted into the previous kernel version from 8.3 and it seems to work fine now.

Anyone have any thoughts on this issue?
