Version 7.9 Freeze during setup

Hello, I am fairly new to linux, so please bear with me.

When I try to install RHEL 7.9, the installation freezes a few seconds after the mouse is moved. The graphical installer does load, but, again, it freezes when I move the cursor to select an option.

This does not happen if I install version 8.3.

The computer in question is a Dell Precision tower, which as a Quadro RTX 4000 card. From what little I was able to find online, this video card may be at the root of the problem.

I don't know if this is a common problem or not with RHEL versions prior to 8.3

Any advice is greatly appreciated, as I would rather install 7.9 for the older version of Gnome desktop that comes with it.
