Unable to allocate Persistent Storage in VMWare

Dear Team,

We have successfully deployed openshift 4.5.9 however we are not able to configure persistent storage.
following error we are receiving while configuring the persistent storage.
Failed to provision volume with StorageClass "thin": folder '/B-HDC/vm/cp4s-px7v7' not found

we have created the same folder as listed above which was described in the below URL as a resolution but wasnt able to resolve the issue

following is available as part of the deployment configuration

datacenter: B-HDC
datastore: DS-T01
folder: /B-HDC/vm/cp4s-px7v7
resourcePool: /B-HDC/host//Resources
server: xxx-xxxx01.xxx.xxx
