Cannot update RHEL 7.5

I am doing the GUI update for RHEL and I have a ton of updates to do (machine hasn't been updated in a bit) and every time I do the update it restarts the machine and after a bit it doesn't do any update. How do I look at logs to figure out what's going on? Sorry; thanks
