In-place Upgrade RHEL 6 to RHEL 7 Broke Login

After doing an in-place upgrade from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7, we were no longer able to log in. We authenticate against our domain controller using PowerBroker. However, we were able to get into the server using a local account and saw nothing have changed with PowerBroker. Any ideas what could have happened and how to fix this?
