Can’t Upgrade RHEL 8.1 to 8.2 by using Foreman-1.24.2

Latest response

Recently i’m able to upgrade RHEL8.0 to 8.1 by using forman. But now immediately i need to upgrade RHEL8.1 to 8.2 but i can’t able to do that.

Let me clear my architecture about yum repository:

  1. I’ve one OS installed, which is only configured for RHEL8 yum repository. This OS downloads all packages from redhat and push to other RHEL8 based OS.
  2. By using Foreman i gurb RHEL8 repos from that repository server ip address and install rpm packages on foreman enrolled servers.
  3. When i add directly my yum repository IP in foreman clients/servers in yum.repos.d, it gets RHEL8.2 update but when I try to upgradation by using foreman subscription then it only gets RHEL8.1.
  4. I already checked all the directories in the yum repo server, which I put in Foreman but everything unchanged and seems okay. I didn’t get the issue where the misunderstanding is going on.
Can anyone please help me regarding this issue?

Generally ? A simple sudo dnf upgrade --refresh should get you going ... :)
