disable lid close action when external monitor is attatched

Hello guys,
im currently running RHEL8 on a thinkpad x270, and have an ultrabase for this device. I would like to attach the external monitor (VGA) to the ultrabase, dock my laptop on the base and close the lid. Is there any any i would be able to disable suspend on laptop lid close, but only when i am plugged into ac?
