Using WD Elements 4 TB hard drives in RHEL 8

Hello! How are you? Could anybody help me to connect WD Elements 4TB external hard drives in my RHEL 8 OS for creating virtual machines for practicing RHCE. My RHEL 8 OS pc has only 44GB and when I trying to create a virtual machine it's getting slow. That's why I wanna use the 4TB external hard drives to create virtual machines for practicing. Please help me to solve these issues and the would-be great for me. Thanks!
