LUKS and compression software encryption .

Hi everyone,
from what I understand encrypting data with red hat you can do it via luks and I think this also applies to external hard drives.
Is there a GUI for red hat 8 that allows you to do this without using the command line?
And finally another question related to encryption: which compression format is the most used on red hat to compress files and possibly encrypt them? Is it possible also in this case through GUI?
