Disconnected install - Service Mesh

Based on OpenShift 4.3 documentation, disconnected or restricted network installation of Service Mesh is not supported.
We are planning to use Service Mesh feature in a restricted network and need guidance if there is a work around to to do that.
Also, will this feature supported in any future release?
