Go back to password auth when smartcard is not available on Redhat8

Hi

I have enable smartcard logon on Redhat8 Enterprise Linux, however I found if I remove the smartcard from the USB reader, the greeter doesn't go back to the user selection page even I press the cancel button, it always reminds me to insert the card.

As I know on Redhat7, when card is removed, the greeter will go back to the user selection page immediately, if I re-plugin the card, greeter will prompt PIN.

Is there a way to make Redhat8 go back to password auth/user selection page when smartcard is removed?
