RedHat 5.5 and PCRE problems

I have an application on a RHEL 5 box that is on a no internet internal segment that cannot be connected to the internet.

it is currently running PCRE 6.6 , I need it to run PCRE 7.8 but I can only find PCRE for rhel6 what are my options
