How to access windows server from linux client.

Hi,
we have windows server 2016 and 20 clients (desktops) attached to it through win7.

Now we want to replace OS win7 from client desktops (from 20 clients) to RHEL. Can this linux installed desktops will able to access win server and associated software's installed on it.
does this scenario will work properly.

Please suggest.
