RHEL 8 Cockpit install with no container options?

Latest response

Hi Guys,

Linux beginner here.

I have just installed RHEL8 Developer edition and my first task was to set up cockpit after reading how great this GUI would be for managing my server remotely especially around containers!

After installing it, and logging in, there is no Container tab in the menu at all? Have i missed something here?

After scouring the internet Ive tried multiple things, but the most interesting one was when i tried to specifically install cockpit-docker as they do on other builds and it was not able to find a match?

[root@terminus ~]# yum install -y cockpit cockpit-docker
Updating Subscription Management repositories.

Package cockpit-185.1-1.el8_0.x86_64 is already installed.
No match for argument: cockpit-docker
Error: Unable to find a match

Can anyone provide me some assistance please

TIA
D
