TRIPWIRE Enterprise not logging in /var/log/messages

Hi all,

I know as per my subject title this is a TRIPWIRE Enterprise problem but I also think this is a generic RHEL issue.

We have 3 servers happily logging Tripwire in /var/log/messages, however 2 other servers are not logging in /var/log/messages.

Do you know how I can force a program to log automatically into this folder as such. i know this is a very generic question but it has me stumped for a few days now.
