Adoption of Powershell Core for Administration and Management - thoughts?

Interested in views around the likely adoption of Powershell Core on RHEL 7 and later going forwards - to script and manage administration related tasks currently done via Bash / Python. Powershell and it's Object pipeline has made huge inroads across the Windows space - do you thnk Powershell Core will be as pervasive over time in RHEL or not?
