Unable to print due to missing filter in cups

Running; RHEL 7.6
Kernel; 3.10.0-957.10.1.el7.x86_64
Printer; Canon TR8520; using PPD TR8500

Issue; Unable to print due to missing "rastertoncanonij" within '/usr/lib/cups/filter' directory.

The version of cups-filter installed is;
cups-filters-libs-1.0.35-22.el7.x86_64
cups-filters-1.0.35-22.el7.x86_64

The latest version of cups-filter is;
cups-filters-1.22.2; from cups direct website

My question is;
How does one go about getting the latest release installed without causing a conflict of what's already installed ? I'm also assuming that the latest release has the missing "rastertoncanonij" file which is needed for my printer to print.
