Question on why ansible-playbook comes with three binaries: ansible-playbook, ansible-playbook-2, ansible-playbook-2.7

I noticed today when I was about to use the ansible-playbook- command that there are ansible-playbook, ansible-playbook-2, and ansible-playbook-2.7

I did a sha256sum /bin/ansible-playbook* which showed all three, but identical sha256sums.

Does anyone know why these three exist?

Partially answered below, they are sym-links, but I'm still curious if there's more to the story on this on function.
