hammer content-hosts

Latest response

upgraded Satellite from 6.2 to 6.3.
I need to find RAM,CPU and Oracle java in each host.
I used to run

hammer content-hosts ..

and find the details in 6.2 but content-hosts is not available in hammer cli in 6.3. I know i can run csv report

hammer csv content-hosts --export --file /tmp/...

My question is there replacement option for
content-hosts ?
or how can I find the above info for all hosts

Hi Muhammad,

I am not sure I understand your question.

"content-host" option is available with command hammer on Satellite 6.3.

# hammer csv content-hosts --export --file my-content-hosts.csv --itemized-subscriptions --verbose --organization WHATEVER

The above command provides information for all the registered content-hosts:

Name,Count,Organization,Environment,Content View,Host Collections,Virtual,Host,OS,Arch,Sockets,RAM,Cores,SLA,Products,Subscriptions

Hi Dusan,

Yes it is with hammer csv, but in 6.2 we used to have

hammer content-host list --organization ...

Is it possible to assign a value for SLA to each host? For instance prod/non-prod So the hammer report can later on be sorted on production server or non production servers.

Hello Muhammad Mughal

I'm curious if this Red Hat solution https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2481861 may help you.

Thomas, I couldn't find anything right now regarding your question - maybe it exists, but I or someone will have to look later.
