I have the same question. I'm running RHEL 6.9 and see a bunch of these logs as part of dmesg:

avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition cleared avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition cleared avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition cleared avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition cleared avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition cleared avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition set avflt: wait for reply timeout condition cleared

What does this mean?

A Google search suggests "avflt" is something to do with the RedirFS anti-virus filter?

Did anyone get to the bottom of this and how to stop them? i'm getting alot of servers showing this, its really spamming the messages file.
