Global Filesystem

Hi
I want to use global file system on around 10 to 12 node . Can i use it as a standalone . I have to share the filesytem across all the nodes for backup purpose .

Red Hat supports single-node GFS2 file systems for mounting snapshots of cluster file systems (for example, for backup purposes).
