No Developer-orientated courses on Anaconda installer and Python
Hello,
As part of my RHEL Learning subscription I have been trying to get as much knowledge as possible in the new features in RHEL7.X and the OS itself but I have missed more dev-orientated contents in the Platform Section rather than administration ones.
The main topic that I believe is a big hole in the Learning courses is the new Anaconda installer. There are few links to developer-orientated contents (being the main sources: https://anaconda-installer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/, RHEL's customization Guide, and the Fedora Wiki page, which usually have the same contents). There is only one single page on those links on how to test Anaconda (or how to set a reproducible/automatable Dev-Environment) and I have just found only one worth video with a basic example of Add-ons development (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fbml_WGMnoQ).
Most of the contents available are about the new features introduced in RHEL7's Anaconda and its new Spoke architecture and few, if any, with a complete end-to-end development orientated explanation including Add-ons development. With this in mind, there is also the need to give some basic/ specialized Python background and tips and best practices to be used in the Anaconda/Add-on projects, which may differ from plain Python and would be really valuable to get from Anaconda experts.
I hope I am not alone in this but I have found few other resources than the ones mentioned above. If you want to share any extra resources you may have on the topic, it will be much appreciated as well.
Best regards,
Eloi Carbó
