Can I disable a single errata in Satellite 6

Latest response

Is there an easy way to make a single errata uninstallable?

I am having some trouble with the latest update to sssd, and I want to prevent the update. (Yes, I do have a ticket with RH Support, but so far I am still on level 1 support and that is almost useless.)
In yum, I could use the -x to exclude an package, but I would need to add a -x for each package in the errata, and I would need to do it for each machine.

I am not even sure if a filter for a content view would work. I would have to add a filter for each package listed in the errata and then remember to delete each filter when the errata is fixed. (Plus, for me publishing those views takes over a day.)

Any ideas?

If you decide to use filter, keep in mind that include filters run always first. You can do something like Include all packages update without errata Include all packages update without errata Exclude errata by ID

When your problem is resolved you can just remove the exclude filter.
