    1) When an external HDD is connected/disconnected, is the 

    /proc/scsi/scsi
    file updated immediately?

    2) If character strings such as "HDD" are not present in the 

    /proc/scsi/scsi
    file,
    can it be determined that it is no longer recognized by the OS?

    Any proof with solution which redhat provides ?
