How does this work...

As I read the RFE

the requested feature has been supplied.

Does this mean RH now supports the feature? Or is there some kinda folding-in period first?

That feature still needs to be properly productized. The capabilities do exist in upstream Pulp (thanks to a timely community contribution), but it has not been backported to Satellite 6 at this time.
