how to downgrade rhel 7.3 to 7.2

I did not know when I do yum update, my rhel is updgraded from 7.2 to 7.3. When I try to install Cloudera Data Science Workbench, it said rhel 7.3 is not comparable. Is there a way to downgrade it from 7.3 to 7.2?

Hi Jim,

Cloudera Data Science Workbench 1.1.x is supported on RHEL 7.3. Cloudera Data Science Workbench Operating System Requirements

Downgrading a system to minor version (ex: RHEL 7.3 to RHEL 7.2) is not recommended as this might leave the system in undesired state.

yes, However my RHEL7.3 is updated to 7.4 now by yum update.

It's possible that editing /etc/redhat-release will let you bypass this test. Mind you, I am not recommending this or suggesting it as a solution... just mentioning it as a workaround that might get you what you want and might not cause other issues :-)
