2 nfsserver resources on the same node
Hi,
i have a 2 node cluster with 3 resource groups set to control IPAdrr2, LVM, Filesystem, nfsserver, exportfs resources.
RSG1 - IPAdrr2, LVM, 5x Filesystem, nfsserver,5x exportfs resources
RSG2 - IPAdrr2, LVM, 5x Filesystem, nfsserver,5x exportfs resources
RSG3 - IPAdrr2, LVM, 3x Filesystem, 3x exportfs resources
RSG3 has no nfsserver as it has constraints to only run with RSG1, and to start after RSG1
RSG3 initially had nfsserver, but a showmount -e from the client to both RSG1 VIP and RSG3 VIP returned 8 exports, setting nfs_ip for the nfsserver resource had no effect when it was configured, so i removed the additonal nfsserver resource from RSG3.
There is now a requirement to occasionally move only RSG3, but the umount seems to hang which i believe is because the nfsserver in RSG1 is still locking something.
is it possible to setup 2 instances of nfsserver on the same node, so showmount -e only reports exports from its corresponding VIP/RG?
TIA
