Terminal screen size is too small in VMware Workstation (RHEL 7.3 Developer Edition)
Hi!
I've just set up RHEL 7.3 developer edition as a VM in VMware Workstation 12. I'm using a surface pro 4 with a resolution of 2560X1600.
However, my terminal window is taking up only about 20% of the space, and the screen/text is way too small.
I've already installed VMware tools, but Im not sure how to scale the resolution accordingly or to change it.
Could someone assist me?
My apologies as I'm still pretty new to Linux in general.
Thanks!

Hi,
I assume you're talking about GUI mode -- a graphical desktop. If that's the case, go to Applications -> System Tools -> Settings -> Displays, and choose a higher resolution for your desktop.
If you're talking about a terminal console, i.e. text mode, you can either increase the console resolution or increase the console font size. Both options are described in the second part of How to increase font size of terminal window and console text?
