Hi,
I have installed RHel7.2. Exists a graphical package manager (install & uninstall) or Yum command?
Thank You

Hi Gaetano,

I'm afraid there's no graphical package installer that would be part of the base (official) repositories, but you can install yumex from EPEL. For more information on EPEL, please see http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL.

Of course, yum, the CLI tool, is available, and should be installed on your system by default.

Hi Radek,

I have tried to install yumex fro EPEL, but this is the result:

yum install yumex Plugin enabled:langpacks, product-id, search-disabled-repos, subscription-manager Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/7Server/x86_64/stable/mirrors error was 14: HTTP Error 404 - Not Found kde-redhat-stable-all | 1.9 kB 00:00
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/7Server/x86_64/stable/mirrors error was 14: HTTP Error 404 - Not Found kde-redhat-stable-all/primary_db | 81 kB 00:01
No package yumex available. Error: Nothing to do

Have You an "Idea"? Thank You Gaetano

That looks like some other repository that you have in the system. From the look of the URL, it seems you have the wrong yum configuration file for the KDE Packaging Project; specifically, yum is now looking for "Fedora 7Server", which doesn't make sense.

I suspect you've accidentally downloaded the repository configuration file for Fedora, right? If so, please replace the content of the file in /etc/yum.repos.d with the content from http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/redhat/kde.repo. Then try again and see what happens.
