Scripting Host Creation

Hello,

We have a requirement to deploy mutiple VM's for a P2V style project. We want to utilize scripts to perform this and have been trying to do this with a wrapper around "hammer" with little success (although building via templates to ESX via the Satellite 6.1.x GUI works fine).

Has anyone got any recommendations for this via hammer, API via Ruby/Python is there any libraries already out there (nailgun maybe ?) probably looping through a CSV file or some such.

Or maybe someone already has done this and would be willing to share :)
