Hi,

are there any issues on initializing an unpartitoned (whole) disk or multipathed device as physical volume:

# pvcreate /dev/mapper/mpath0

where /dev/mapper/mpath0 is an unpartitioned device:

Disk /dev/mapper/mpath0  doesn't contain a valid partition table
