I believe that running RHEV-M on RHEL 7.x is not yet supported.

The RHEV 3.5 Installation Guide lists RHEL 6.5 or 6.6 as a requirement for RHEV-M.

I believe that RHEV-M 3.5.3 will now also run on RHEL 6.7.

Hi Aram,
The documentation has been updated to include 6.7.

Many thanks,
Julie, RHEV docs

Thanks for the update, Julie!

Aram is correct. Currently, RHEV-M only runs on RHEL 6.x but the hypervisors can be either RHEL 6 or RHEL 7. The recommended method for installing RHEV-M is to install RHEL 7.1 on the first hypervisor, then set up hosted-engine using the provided RHEV-M on RHEL 6.6 appliance.
