Send a web page thru a VPN tunnel

Latest response

Once a VPN tunnel has been established between a win7 client and a rhl7 vpn server.
Is the a facile way of sending a web-page thru the tunnel to the client ?

I want to send a login web-page to the client.

On the server itself? Just give them the IP address, so http://{ip address}

You want a VPN customer (human being) to click "Connect" then after the VPN client (software) is connected, the customer is presented with a webpage?

It would be the responsibility of the VPN client software to open the webpage. I know OpenVPN can run a post-up script.

I totally misread the question. :( LOL.

@Jaime.
Okay, but I'm using the ShrewSoft ver 2.2.2 VPN client.
So I would have to run the login webpage on the client ?

Guy

I had a look through the Shrew Soft Admin Guide but I could not find anywhere to configure a program to run after connect. You may wish to ask Shrew if their client can do this.

An alternative could be to configure a login banner to advise customers "Visit webpage http://example.com to log in" or similar.

@Jamie.
Yes I reviewed their documentation also, I'll ask the question on their help-forum.
Perhaps someone will know.
I may have to examine other VPN clients that offer this feature.
Thanks for your help
