Satellite 6.1 with OpenSCAP but different puppet master

Hi,

We want to run Satellite 6.1 to provision and patch our server estate. As we have an established (Open Source) puppet infrastructure our desired setup looks very similar to the one in this presentation from Red Hat Summit: Red Hat Summit Blog

Question: Is it still possible for us to take advantage of the OpenSCAP functionality provided in Satellite 6.1 if our puppet master is on a different server? If so, what are the steps to enable this? (I would imagine one would need to copy the SCAP puppet modules to the puppet master, and assign them to our clients. What other steps would be needed?)

Per the session at Summit, one will copy the relevant puppet modules from Satellite to the Puppet infrastructure, then push it out to clients that way. The rest of the setup should work normally.

I tend to agree (If the puppetmaster and the client has connection to the Capsule.)
